Privacy Policy

NoBlur Status ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Who We Are
NoBlur Status is operated by NoBlur Status Technologies, based in India. We build tools that help users post HD-quality videos to WhatsApp Status.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Anonymous app identifier โ generated by Firebase Authentication so we can keep your credits, subscription status, referrals, and activation state in sync.
- Device/referral identifiers โ used to prevent referral abuse and count referral rewards.
- Usage and credit data โ compression counts, free credits, rewarded-ad credits, coupon credits, and Pro monthly usage are stored locally and/or on our servers to enforce plan limits.
- Premium status & expiry โ subscription product ID, purchase token, expiry date, and related status are stored so Google Play purchases can be verified and restored.
- WhatsApp/mobile number activation โ when you activate delivery, your WhatsApp number is linked to your anonymous app account so processed clips can be returned to you.
- Diagnostics and analytics โ crash reports, performance diagnostics, feature usage events, push notification tokens, and advertising identifiers may be collected through Firebase, Google Play services, and AdMob.
We do not collect your name, precise location, or contacts unless you explicitly contact us for support or provide information to us.
3. Video Processing
When you use the HD Video Status feature, selected videos may be uploaded to our server at noblurstatus.com for compression, validation, temporary hosting, and WhatsApp delivery.
- Videos are processed only to provide the feature you request.
- Processed files are temporarily hosted so WhatsApp can fetch and deliver them, then cleaned up automatically.
- NoBlur returns the processed video to your WhatsApp chat so you can forward it to Status.
We do not sell or use your video content for advertising. Temporary processing files are deleted after delivery/cleanup and are not kept as a permanent content library.
4. WhatsApp Business API Usage
Our service uses the WhatsApp Business Platform to facilitate HD video delivery. By using our app, you acknowledge:
- Your WhatsApp number interacts with our registered Business account to receive your processed video.
- This interaction is subject to WhatsApp's Terms of Service.
- We do not send you marketing messages through WhatsApp. NoBlur only responds when you initiate a video send.
- You can opt out at any time by simply not using the HD Video Status feature.
5. Payments
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not store your card details, UPI ID, bank information, or full payment method details. Payment data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google Play terms.
Upon successful purchase, we store purchase verification data such as product ID, purchase token, expiry date, and entitlement status so Pro access and one-time packs can be verified, restored, and kept in sync with Google Play.
6. Referral System
If you participate in our referral program:
- Your device generates a unique 6-character referral code stored locally.
- When someone uses your code, our server records the referrer code + new user's device ID only โ no personal information.
- Referral data is used solely to count how many friends joined and grant bonus uses.
7. Data Storage & Retention
- On-device data (local caches, settings, referral code, recent history): stored on your device and generally deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Server account data (anonymous user ID, subscription status, usage counters, WhatsApp activation, referral/coupon records): retained while needed to provide service, prevent abuse, support restores, and meet legal/accounting requirements.
- Video processing files: retained temporarily for processing, WhatsApp fetch/delivery, troubleshooting, and cleanup, then deleted automatically.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.
8. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services and Google Play Billing โ for purchases, subscriptions, in-app review prompts, and Android services
- Firebase โ for anonymous authentication, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, cloud messaging, Firestore, and Cloud Functions
- Google AdMob โ for ads, rewarded ads, and advertising identifiers
- WhatsApp / Meta โ for video delivery via WhatsApp Business API
10. Google Play Data Safety Summary
For Google Play Data Safety, NoBlur may collect or process the following categories to provide app features, prevent abuse, process purchases, show ads, and improve reliability:
- App activity โ feature usage, compression counts, plan limits, rewarded-ad credits, referrals, and crash diagnostics.
- App info and performance โ crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data through Firebase Crashlytics and related services.
- Device or other IDs โ anonymous Firebase user ID, device/referral identifiers, advertising ID, FCM token, and Google Play purchase identifiers.
- Financial info โ purchase/subscription status and product IDs from Google Play Billing. Payment method details are handled by Google Play, not by NoBlur.
- Photos and videos โ selected videos are processed temporarily when you use HD Video Status features.
- Phone number โ your WhatsApp/mobile number is used for WhatsApp activation and delivery when you choose to activate the WhatsApp workflow.
11. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
12. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request deletion of any server-side referral data linked to your device ID
- Know what data we hold about you
- Withdraw from the referral program at any time

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
